No parser bug - Opens for new items Eckhard discussed Design con IQ and general observations from DATE DATE IBIS SUMMIT Meeting went very well. 22 people from 11 different companies were represented. Only one EDA vendors was present. Presentation on IBIS quality went well.A number of folks were unaware there even was a quality checklist and were anxious to obtain and use it. There was confusion about how to deal with models that produce different results from different simulators. They requested that Golden Models be discussed in the IQ committee`. There is confusion about the issue, but we believe that the already approved Golden waveforms can handle this issue. DesignCon03 EAST - IBIS summit Bob Ross said that Barry Katz has signed up to Chair the IBIS OPEN Summit at DesignCon03 east. Details will be announced on IBIS reflector next month. - Detailed Documentation review Barry walked us through the updated documentation he wrote for the Component section of the IBIS Quality checklist. The document is now separated to clearly show what is required for Level 0, level 1 and level 2.Barry also included the IBIS keywords. We will not duplicate requirements from the lover levels (i.e. level 0) to the higher levels (i.e. level 1) in the documentation otherwise we create duplication. But may generate separate checklists for level 0,1,2. Discussed in detail Pin Table and Package parasitics.Package parasitics should be either defined or contain NA NA NA.Discussion about putting R L C on some pins (signals) but not others (Power and Ground) this is legal but can cause problems (not valid) when trying to simulate SSO. Discussed Diff pin Section and model selector requirements. - Sample of file date header; FILENAME: IQ_3_0_component_section.txt Rev 0.2 3/25/03 Draft Release BK - Plans for next meeting Complete review of component_section.txt Begin review of model_section.txt - Schedule for next meeting April 8, 2003 9-10 AM EST (6-7 AM PST) Phone: 408-974-8478 or 800-249-5618 Meeting access: CONFERENCE SERVER 1, Conference ID: 54644 Meeting ended at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
